Shasta Mountain Guides

Rich has worked for Shasta Mountain Guides since the year 2000. After guiding hundreds of trips, he has had the opportunity to guide just about every program SMG offers: summit climbs, glacier seminars, ski trips, avalanche courses, guide trainings, and supervising the guide staff on the mountain. 2010 Update: Rich has past a milestone. 100 summits of Mt. Shasta.

Alpine Ascents International

Rich has worked for Alpine Ascents international since 2006. Primarily guiding Denali and Mt. Rainier, these classic big mountain climbs are the benchmark of American mountaineering. It is always a joy to summit & work on such dynamic mountains.

North American Ski Training Center

Rich has worked for the North American Ski Training Center since 2005. Rich teaches avalanche courses and backcountry ski trips for NASTC. Single day backcountry ski tours, overnight ski adventures, and ski mountaineering trips are all part of the curriculum at NASTC.

California Alpine Guides

Rich has worked for California Alpine Guides since 2007. He has guided the Ecuador Volcanoes Expedition multiple times, which includes Cayambe, Cotopaxi, and Chimborazo. He also guides ski mountaineering trips in the California High Sierra.
