Idaho

Rich has done an annual backcountry yurt trip to Idaho since 2017. The mountains surrounding Sun Valley hold exceptional powder skiing and numerous skiing options. Spending 4-5 days simply skinning, skiing powder, and enjoying yurt life is a pleasure and something to look forward to each season. In partnership with Sun Valley Trekking and Sun Valley Guides

Japan

Japan offers a unique blend of terrific powder skiing, amazing local cuisine, relaxing onsens, and truly kind people. A weeklong powder adventure in Hokkaido is an adventure you won’t forget. Chile

Rich has done multiple trips to Chile to climb and ski the volcanos. The Lake district in Patagonia is an ideal spot to summit and ski 3-4 peaks in close proximity. While enjoying Chilean hot springs, excellent food, wine, and rustic refugios. In partnership with Alpenglow Expeditions

Equador

Rich has had the opportunity to guide the three tallest Volcanoes in Ecuador multiple times. Cayambe, Cotopaxi, and Chimborazo. All between 18,000ft and just over 20,000ft, this is the gateway to high altitude climbing and skiing. The combination of flying into Quito, and close proximity of the peaks allows climbers to attempt multiple summits in a single expedition. Along with great food and accommodations!
